Discord symbols & bio ideas
Discord takes Unicode symbols in usernames, server names, nicknames, statuses and the About Me. Decorated names like ☾ moon ☽ have been a Discord staple for years. Discord doesn't restrict which characters you use — the glyph still has to exist in the font on whoever's reading.

Combos that fit discord
Will these show up on Discord?
Discord carries symbols through as ordinary text — there is no allow-list of characters to get past. What decides whether a symbol draws is the font on the device reading your profile, and no page can test that for you. Here is what the character data says about the 41 symbols in the combos above.
- 35 · Long-established text symbols
- Plain-text characters from blocks that mainstream desktop and mobile fonts have covered for years. These are the safe ones.
- 5 · Emoji
- Drawn in colour by the emoji font on modern phones and desktops. Older systems can miss recent additions, and the picture differs per platform — 🎀 does not look the same on iOS and Android.
- 1 · Specialist blocks
- Historic scripts, mathematical alphabets and other blocks many default fonts do not cover. These are the ones that can arrive as an empty box.
On this page that means 𖥔 — paste those into your own profile and look at them before you rely on them.
